| Comments

Today I got my hands on Kingston DT100G3/32GB USB stick. I would like to share some statistics with you in case you are considering to by same device. Kingston DT100G3/32GB USB stick supports USB 3.0 and of course is backward compatible with USB 2.0. Therefore, I will provide result information for both USB 3.0 & USB 2.0 and FAT, btrfs, EXT2 and EXT4 filesystems. More about Flash Drives Speed tests.

NOTE: Each test was run multiple time and the best result was taken. Check USB Flash Drive Read/write Speed Test for more information how below test were performed.

The fastest write of 16.79MB/s was possible with USB 3.0 and EXT4 filesystem.

The fastest read of 79.41MB/s was achieved with USB 3.0 and btrfs filesystem.

Calculations are based on: 1 kilobyte = 103 byte = 1000 bytes
